Fou Chin has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years and has served at the Iu-Mien Friendship Baptist Church since its inception. Fou Chin attended Golden Gate Seminary and was ordained on April 25, 1999. He has served as Senior Pastor since June 1, 2010. Fou Chin and his wife, Mouang, continue to fulfill their calling as described in Matthew 28:19-20, to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Associate Pastor
Karen has served as the English-speaking pastor at Iu-Mien Friendship Baptist Church since 2012. Karen also serves as the Senior Pastor at New Life Christian Fellowship in Castro Valley, CA. Karen has over 20 years in pastoral ministry, presents at various regional and national events, and serves on many Boards and committees, including the Executive Council of the Ministers Council of the Greater Bay Area. Her goal is to live a life that is described in Micah 6:8 “to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with her God.”
Rev. Samuel (Yauz Winh) Chao
Associate Pastor
Samuel (Yauz Winh) has been a member of Iu-Mien Friendship Baptist Church over 20 years. Samuel attended Golden Gate Seminary and was ordained on January 11, 2020. He has served as Associate Pastor since February 2020. Samuel and his wife, Thim, continue to serve and live as described in Ephesians 4:2 “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
